Our language professionals offer a unique therapy experience that takes place in the child’s natural environment. As a mobile service provider, we are able to render therapy at the child’s home, daycare, charter/private school, or in the community.
We have developed a holistic approach to the therapy process wherein your child’s care can be coordinated with other therapy disciplines (Occupational, Physical, Behavioral, etc.) to attain optimal results in all necessary developmental areas.
The child’s family is included in the evaluation and intervention process as an integral part of designing a program that will best meet your child’s basic, medical, emotional, and academic needs as they pertain to speech and language. In this manner, parental involvement is a key component in assisting with the therapy process and is achieved through parent education and carryover in the home.
At First Words, our therapists are trained with extensive clinical experience which they continuously improve upon by remaining current with clinically proven, evidence-based evaluation and therapy practices. Our therapists are devoted to providing your child with the highest quality of care and we are here to help.

Client Feedback
We started with Annie about three years ago and it has been wonderful! When she started coming to our house my boys were one (1) and not speaking. My husband and I were concerned and decided to have a speech therapist come to the house… She is patient, kind, persistent, and great at her job! Our boys are four (4) now and they have come such a long way!
